About

MyWalk.in is a project that has been close to my heart for the past 10 years, at least, but that I haven’t been able to put into effect before now. First, because I had a (very) full-time job and also, to tell you the truth, because I lacked the courage to undertake this great adventure. But here we are, after months of hard work… the site is finally ready to be shared with all of you.

I’ve always been passionate about fashion, a fan of vintage and somewhat of a shopaholic… one that shops for herself as much as for others! I started by revamping all my family’s wardrobes, that of my darling boyfriend, my friends and their singnificant others. Sometimes, unable to let a treasure slip away, I even bought stuff for no one in particular, certain that someone, somewhere would also fall in love with it. As you can imagine, I’ve accumulated tons of such unique pieces over the years.

I am often asked why I don’t work as a stylist… Well I can’t do just that. I enjoy writing too much! So here is the best alternative I coulf find… With MyWalk.in, I have the opportunity to shop for you, to show you my best finds, including lots of vintage, and to make suggestions inspired by the most important trends of the season.

So why MyWalk.in? Because that’s where it all started. When I decided to launch this website, I wanted to create the perfect setup for all these clothes that I treasure. I had to build a the walk-in of my dreams. I thus contacted Garde-robes Gagnon, the best in the field if you want my opinion, and I had the chance to work with David Gagnon, whom created a custom-made walk-in where my office once stood. The result, as you can see, is simply perfection!

In the meantime, welcome to my walk-in. I hope you will have as much pleasure shopping and wandering in it, as I have had in filling it up these past 15 years!

Bio
After having completed my studies in fashion marketing, I left for Europe to undergo my bachelors in journalism. As soon as I got back in 2005, I started to write for the lifestyle section in Voir newspaper. After years of handling current events and social issues, I quickly found my way back to my passion for fashion. I became Fashion and Beauty editor for FCD magazine, then Assistant Fashion Editor at Clin d’Oeil before taking on the role of Fashion Editor for the brand new Clindoeil.ca website.

That leap into the world wide web changed my life. I thought I was a magazine girl, but I immediately loved the instantaneity of that medium, and especially the interaction with the readers. It is also mostlty because of Clindoeil.ca that I fell for blogging. With my colleague at the time, we created the ModedeRue.ca blog, for which I won the P&G Award for best French Fashion or Beauty blog in 2009 and 2010.
